Is there any interest in including in ERR5RS a standard means to signal or report an error? Perhaps something along the lines of SRFI-23? Note that I am not advocating a means to handle the errors or prescribe the behavior of an implementation once an error has been signaled. Alan Watson

While I cannot say if it's in the scope of ERR5RS, I can say that whenever I do a "greenfields" project, this is the very first thing I get working after "hello, world". As a user, I would certainly like for it to be required. Hga 10:43, 25 September 2007 (PDT)
